shy

Although I took a big step when I asked my manfriend to take photos of me whilst I posed in public wearing some of the things I'd made for Cellar Door, I'm still struggling with the idea of getting someone (most likely him again) to take pictures of me for this blog.  It just makes me feel so self-conscious, and I get all silly and awkward.  So for the time being, until I can get over myself, I'll stick to the ol' faithful self portraits.

  1. From what I can see (esp your eyes), you're stunning. x hivenn

  2. It can be a little nerve-racking at first, but you get used to it. I used a tripod for awhile when I first started, so I wouldn't feel so self-conscious.

  3. I feel the same way! I usually use a tripod and take photos of myself, which helps a lot! But when my hubby takes photos of me, I tend to get all shy haha.

  4. I tend to absolutely hate the pictures my husband takes of me! Haha....I guess I'm self-conscious too. I much prefer the self-portrait. ;)

  5. My camera's self timer and I are great friends. I too feel so strange about even the thought of asking someone else to take pictures of me. It's a silly thing, and I know that in the grand scheme of things it's no bid deal, but still. I've never been good at being in pictures. I'd much rather be behind the camera!

  6. That jumper is so cute - exactly the kind of thing I'd like to knit!
