Weekend
Hello folks. Just stopping by to see how your weekends are going... I don't think I'm alone when I say "I love the weekend!". I've been at home this weekend catching up, cleaning, de-cluttering and feeling inspired by the changing season. It's been a crisp and blustery couple of days, but the sun is shining and I'm enjoying wrapping up in scarves and socks.
Floyd is away tonight and I have my bestie coming over to keep me company - I can't wait. We'll probably end up having a few glasses of our favourite cocktails (maybe too many) and then talking through the early hours. We're going for sushi tomorrow and probably a bit of window shopping. Just what the doctor ordered!
What do you have planned for the rest of your weekend? I'd love to have a look at what you've been up to ('coz I'm nosey like that).

Such a cute post! I've been ill so my weekend so far was boring. Yours sounds fun x
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. Being ill at the weekend is rubbish!
DeleteRight now enjoying the last few hours of light on my porch knitting and watching my husband draw... while the little one napd and the son plays in his room with a neighbor. Cant complain. I would love some sushi and a cocktail though.
ReplyDeleteIts quiet here but I like it that way.
That sounds ideal! I would absolutely love a porch - I think it might be a priority for our next home.
DeleteThe weekend is almost over but what was my weekend was spent quite nicely. Friday night I had dinner out with my toddler son. I had an eggplant and ground lamb middle eastern style dish with saffron rice and a coffee liqueur drink. Then Saturday, my husband son and myself all went on a spontaneous car ride to Anacortes, WA, from Seattle. It is one of the most beautiful places I have seen in my life and we captured some wonderful photographs. Hope that your weekend turned out fun. I am sure that any day with cocktails is fun though!
ReplyDeleteHaving dinner out with your toddler - that's so cute! Your meal sounds scrummy. We did have a lot of fun thanks, but I felt a bit worse for wear the next day. Sushi helped sort me out.
DeleteI love sushi! You've inspired me to now ask my husband to buy me some. I suffer from anemia so the fish couldn't hurt! Dinner out with my son is fun but sometimes he can turn into a real butt when he gets impatient. He'll have to learn somehow though!
DeleteLike your first photo :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. Most of my self-portraits are in the mirror because I get shy in front of the camera.
